Khabar Lahariya is an award-winning independent grassroots media organisation heralding a feminist news revolution, and delivering real rural reporting to our readers. As the country’s only marginalized women-run news platform we train rural women as professional journalists to amplify their voices that get lost in the din.

The support of our readers’ community has helped us grow since our inception- from starting as a local print newspaper in 2002 to launching our website in 2013, from going digital and starting our youtube channel in 2015 to launching our first subscription model SF4G in 2019.
